Chaos stems from a lack of control, it renders the user hopeless, but finding a calmness in this moment transforms the subject’s response.

Concept:

This editorial is a series of images documenting feelings through photography. The term ‘Comfortably Numb’ is derived from the notion that not feeling anything is in fact a feeling, one that isn’t necessarily painful, almost a type of apathy.

This is the essence of the project, to document that feeling if it does indeed exist within the subject. The art is about the necessity to recharge out of duty, finding strength when you have no strength available. It’s about finding peace in the storm. A focus on reflection and an absence of awareness, and just existence.
